Media consumption is the amount of content and information that a person or an individual takes to be entertained or in order to interact with other individuals through media. Media consumption does not only include online interaction, but an individual can also read books, newspapers, and magazines interaction wise. 

Media consumption is determined by what an individual is interested in, they may want entertainment from the media, some may want to play games, and some may seek information about certain situations that they are facing. 

Impacts of media consumption

Professional practitioners may consider using business or personal contact as it is essential for them to communicate with other clients and stakeholders while other people may prefer factors such as radios and television ino order to consume information provided by the media and that information may include alerts about the weather or the state of the economy and agricultural information. 

The impact of media consumption is that at some point an individual could be exposed to information that is not good for their mental health, of which he that will negatively change the way they behave and the way they usually do things. Media content such as topics that are based on crime, corruption and sexual scandals can negatively affect young individuals because in nowadays, the young individuals are too exposed to the media. 

Media consumption has the power to change how we believe about certain things, they can change our values due to opinions and content that is portrayed through media. Media consumption can our opinions and values and even beliefs of how with think about the world and its issues. 

As of now, that the youth is currently exposed to media, some content that they consume can be detrimental to them of which it will lead to them to not having enough confidence and that may cause them to have social anxiety, whereby they would not be able to normally communicate with others 

Media consumption includes or enables other individuals to interact and communicate with other individuals, whereby it will be a situation of sharing information that they relate to, and that will make them gain more knowledge about certain situations and content. The other side of media consumption is that it can be an advantage for businesses and organizations, whereby some content and information that is shared can attract them, of which that initiates collaboration between two or more organizations and that will be a good call for both or more organizations. 

Overall, people need to be careful of how they consume information in media because too much media consumption is not good for their state of mind. People need to ensure that they consume media in a manner that is not detrimental for their state of mind and in a manner that will be educational and informative.

Social media influence

 

We can refer social media influence as a term that identifies the ability for a person to change or affect another human being's behavior through social media community.

The advantages of social media influence:

People's thoughts and behaviors are somehow influenced by what other people are saying or doing at that certain time. Through social media influence, we can learn to adapt and conform to some values and those values can be either negative or positive. Social media influence positively, is one of the most essential aspect as people can find relevant information that can affect their behavior in a positive way, meaning that through the influence of social media, they can somehow change how they feel about certain information or situations presented by the social media community.

Social media influence, according to businesses and organizations, is very essential as there is a large number of people in social media, they use social media influence as a tool to make awareness of their brands and it also makes them to communicate better with their target audience as businesses and organizations. 

The disadvantages of social media influence 

Social media influence at some point have its own disadvantages because sometimes news that is spread can be false, of which it may influence other people's behaviors in social media in a negative way, as they were influenced by misinformation or the spread of false news. 

Some of the negatives about social media influence is that an individual may get social anxiety because they may be exposed to information that is inappropriate for their state of mind of which it affects or negatively influence how an individual behaves or think.

As social media is influential, the mispread of information can be a danger to many individuals because with that information being spread, now people or social media community will be influenced by lies about how they feel about that particular organization or business, with lies or misinformation spread about them. 

The impact of social media influence:

Social media has been very influential from the start and its future looks more convincing as it also a form of communication between people, businesses and organizations. Businesses and organizations, they pave the future of their workplaces through social media influence as that enables them to have a better communication with their consumers and have a better understanding of their customer's needs and wants of which is very influential. 

Overall, social media influence can be either negative or positive, whereby on the positive side it helps people, businesses and organizations spread their content that can influence people's biliefs, behaviors and opinions about their businesses and organizations, and on the negative side, the mispread of information can be a danger to people's behavior in the social media community as people will be influenced by information that is based on lies.
